Fall Festival Season is upon us!

Here’s a run down of the shows we’ll be attending, have applied to, and where we hope we’ll see you!

September 12 - Heart of Virginia Festival

Join us in Farmville, VA for the Heart of Virginia Festival! This one day event brings artisans and crafters from all over the state to picturesque downtown Farmville. Stay tuned for booth information.

October 2 - 4 - Greater Williamsburg Fall Craft & Vendor Show

Celebrating its inaugural year, the Greater Williamsburg Fall Craft & Vendor show is going to be an amazing three day event at the newly constructed Williamsburg Sports & Events Center. Tickets are $7 for single day and $10 for two days. This show is reminiscent of Bizarre Bazaar. Should be lots of fun!

We’re two best friends who picked up our craft during the long days of the pandemic. We do this for the joy it brings and love sharing that joy with others!

Meet Stitches

Billie spends her nights in front of a sewing machine covered by loose bits of thread while “reading” audio books about murder, mystery, and intrigue. A veritable Jill of All Trades, she taught herself to sew in April 2020 to make masks for her kids and coworkers.

Fast forward another year and she traded the masks for quilts and baby blankets. Another few years later and now she’s the queen of turning thrift store finds into amazing, handcrafted bags and satchels. Each stitched by machine and finished with by hand with beautiful embellishments.

Meet Stones

Leigh Anne spends her nights at her kitchen counter with a box of rocks, baubles, and quilled paper on one side and a perpetually on hot glue gun on the other. Reality TV on blast and a cold glass of Chardonnay close by, she imagines whole worlds through tiny colorful rocks and bits of glass.

Crafting isn’t new to her - she started as a stitcher - but mixed media art is. She loves bringing nature to canvas through found objects and repurposed pieces. From flora to fauna and everything in between, she brings whimsy and joy to framed works of art.

Why now?

After years of creating pieces for family and friends, the Stitcher and the Stoner decided to bring their show on the road to have something fun to do on the weekends and share their passions with others.
